Whilst browsing through the millions of videos on youtube I came across a homemade virtual reality gun for PC shooter games. Once you get past the goofy look of the creator you will begin to appreciate his ingenuity. I mean, he’s using a USB mouse as a tracker! I never would have thought of that. I’m impressed. If you’re not… you’re not a geek.

Deadbeat Friday

Everthus the Deadbeats are playing a house party tonight in Indianapolis @ ZACH N KYLE’S 6616 N FERGUSON BROAD RIPPLE. I think it’s going down around 10ish or later.

I haven’t seen any official fliers for the show but I’m going to make the voyage anyway. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a good house party and, to be honest, it’s been too long. I’m expecting cheap and shitty keg beer with loud music and dancing.

I found a cool website that will convert any PDF document into a Microsoft Word file. This makes it really easy to change and manipulate the text of those pesky PDF manuals that clutter your desktop. I have found it useful when I’m writing research papers. It makes it really easy to cut and paste sections that you wish to quote or cite. Either way, this tool makes the conversion process a breeze.

Morton’s Pub & Grub, located in Muncie Indiana, will be closing on July 19th!?!?!?!

I just read about it here!

I didn’t see that coming at all. The food was good but I will admit that the prices were a little on the high side. Despite the prices, the food was amazing. It will be sad to see them ago. Restaurants just don’t seem to fare well in Muncie’s downtown. I blame the local economy. That, and eveyrone around here seems to flock to fast food establishments. New fast food places are popping up every year, yet local eateries can’t seem to stick it out. It’s depressing.

Be sure to stop by Morton’s Pub & Grub before the 19th to say your goodbyes.
