Chili Pea Puffs

Lauren and I tried out a new recipe from 101cookbooks.com last night and it was delicious. I thought that the Chile Pea Puffs (created by Monica Bhides) sounded like something new and delicious to try and it turns out I was right. It was a lot of work but I think it was well worth the effort. They were AMAZING. However, if you’re not into spicy food, you may want to omit the Serrano chilies entirely. The puffs were too hot for Lauren. It tortured her because she says they were delicious but way too hot for her. So yeah, if you’re sensitive to spicy foods than be sure to take it down a notch.

I also made a Green Bean Curry but it was pretty spicy as well. Lauren couldn’t eat it either. This is part of our relationship that’s interesting. My love for spicy foods and her hatred for them. Ah well, she’s getting better at eating thems.

I’ve just realized that these posts make Lauren look like my cooking slave. I promise that I cook too! She just likes to do the hands on stuff like doughs and such. She likes to work with her hands anytime there’s a messy job to be done.

Either that or it looks like you don’t ever change clothes. hehe. OR better yet!!! You are just a character off of Doug! You could be like Patty Mayonnaise and wear the same thing forever!
