Fall Break Disaster
Ball State’s fall break has come and gone in the blink of an eye. I was hoping that the 3-day break would bring some much needed rest and relaxation now that Monday is here I feel that I was left empty handed. The break would have been much more enjoyable if I didn’t have to work on my tcom project that I put off to the last possible weekend. Once again, my procrastination had gotten the best of me. Oh, did I mention that I had two tests scheduled for today? Yeah, I had to study for those as well. Hell, I only did one thing over the weekend that wasn’t school related… I went to a ‘haunted corn maze’ with Shizzy, Lauren, and her roommates. That was the highlight of the weekend. Booyah.
Like I said…
The majority of the weekend was spent creating a website for my tcom class. It took me the better part of two days to create all of my images and textual content. I could have been done in twenty minutes but I wanted to make myself appear as marketable and badass as possible. Besides, it’s been ages since I’ve had to create a webpage from scratch without the use of templates and such. I’ve grown rusty.
Once the website was finished I began studying for the tests in Tcom and Latin. I stayed up until 3ish trying to memorize everything so that I would get a decent grade. Alas, when I got to my Latin class today, the test had been moved to Wednesday. The same thing happened in my Tcom class! The test was moved to Friday! WTF!?!?!?! I wasted a good chunk of my break studying for tests that I didn’t even take! Ah well, at least I’ll be better prepared for them now.
So yeah, that’s the weekend in a nutshell.
