High Fructose Corn Syrup Commercials

What is with the commercialized promotion of HFCS consumption on TV? Do they really think that the people educated enough to avoid HFCS are going to be dumb enough to fall for this trickery? Is this some sort of weak attempt to ‘call our bluff’ on the topic? Perhaps the Corn Grower’s Association believes that we avoid consuming HFCS without having good reason? I’ll let you all in on a little secret… There are PLENTY of reasons to avoid HFCS.
These commercials are troubling. The fact that this message is contained in a commercial that isn’t advertising a single product is most disturbing. That alone should be enough of an indicator that the message is bogus. The way that the commercials portray the people that avoid HFCS is annoying. They make it appear as if we are cocky and ignorant. Not one of the anti-HFCS actors depicts an educated person with a brain to back up their decision. Instead, the actors cave in and share the consumption of HFCS. WTF??!?!?! I’ve never seen anything more preposterous in my life! What is this world coming to?
Don’t consume HFCS because your tv tells you to. It’s lying to you.
