Light @ the End
I’ve been slacking off on the updates. My brilliant scheme to take four semesters worth of German classes in ten weeks has proven to be quite horrendous. Ten weeks sounded much shorter when I was signing up for them. Now that I’m in my 10th week it feels like an eternity. Ah well, what doesn’t kill us only makes us stronger right? Either way, I’ll be glad to be done with it.
On a side note… I really need to cut my finger nails. I don’t like typing with long fingernails. For whatever reason, it bothers me and I don’t like it. Call me crazy or just plain weird. I don’t know how all of those secretaries with the super long fake nails go about their daily typing tasks without going insane.
Today I finished filming the final scenes for the short film I’m making for my German 202 class. It’s a comedy but it’s all in German so most of the dialogue is handicapped to accommodate my shriveled excuse for a vocabulary. Somehow we managed to convince our professor that we should be allowed to do a ‘final project’ rather than taking the traditional final exam. It sounded like a good idea at the time but now I’m starting to think that I’d have spent far less time studying than I have trying to make this film. Over the past 2 days I’ve spent a good many hours filming and re-filming scenes. There are plenty of out-takes. Perhaps I’ll add them to the original as extra features.
I’m ready to be done.. I’m ready to be done.
