Saw Dinosaur Jr. and met J Mascis
Friday night, Lauren and I drove down to Bloomington, Indiana to watch Dinosaur JR. perform at the Bluebird. The show was face meltingly loud and I’m pretty sure that our ear drums have sustained permanent damage. Oh well, it was worth it. Those guitar solos were heavenly. J Mascis, the guitar player for Dinosaur JR, had so many effects pedals. I tried to keep my jealousy under control. Anyway, the show was awesome. After all of the noises had come to an end we ended up meeting J Mascis at a bar across the street called ‘the vid’.

It’s been a good weekend. Our trip to Bloomington was thoroughly enjoyed. Special thanks to Johrdan Vicstein for the hospitality and Bloomington insight. It was much appreciated. Watching the new episodes of the US Office on a projector was exactly what I needed after a night of drinking and smoke inhalation.
